Restoration in Dallas Texas MAINTENANCEAt Central Carpet, the majority of our services lie in the maintenance of carpet cleaning. We have several methods that we use. The most widely used and generally accepted is Hot Fluid Extraction. Hot Fluid Extraction This method combines the concept of a pressure washer and a wet vacuum pickup. The machine sprays a solution of water and detergents under pressure (the temperature and pressure varies) into the carpet. A vacuum nozzle behind the spray jets vacuums the dissolved soil, detergents and water back into the recovery tank. The key is control of the amount of water that is used and effective removal of the dirty solution. This method of cleaning can then be done with a portable machine or with a Truck Mount. In each case, hot water with detergents is sprayed into the carpet at varying pressures and vacuumed immediately. The machine has a solution tank which carries the cleaning solution, and a recovery tank which carries the dirty water that has been vacuumed from the carpet. HOST The HOST dry extraction carpet cleaning method was designed to clean axminister, woven, cotton or wool carpets and is a low moisture system based on the sponge. Imagine your kitchen sponge. It holds water and cleaning agents and absorbs and wipes away the dirt from surfaces. The HOST SPONGES perform the same function. It holds the necessary cleaning ingredients and absorbs and wipes away the soil from the carpet fibers. The cleaner is applied to the soiled areas of the carpet with an applicator or hand dispenser. The system uses a machine with two 5 inch diameter, counter-rotating brushes to brush the moist SPONGES deeply throughout the carpet where it contains the soiled yarns and dissolves and absorbs the dirt from them. The machine offers the additional benefit of pild lifting which opens the pile and helps to release the soil. The final step is to vacuum up the SPONGES along with the soil they hold. FLOOD RESTORATION When flooding occurs the primary response is to remove the water and try to protect the furnishings. After the water has been controlled, the inside of the walls must be checked for moisture and released to prevent secondary damage or final growth where even possible. Central Carpet has been in the position of helping other companies as well as their own clients since 1975 responding to and restoring these disasters. |
